These couple of pictures are of Claire wearing one of her Birthday presents.  Her Hello Kitty headphones not my phone.  She wears them at least once a day.  She absolutely loves them. 

On another note, I have a few projects that I am hoping to be sharing soon.

The beach in January

Last weekend we got in the car and drove over to Surfside Beach, SC.  It is about 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach and oh about 4 hours from us.  We went down there to visit Doug's grandparents who have been traveling down from Cuba, NY.  They come down from January to April, I think.  Anyway, we decided we would take a golf cart ride around the village they stay in and then go to the beach.  Well the golf cart wasn't running to good and Doug had to get out and push a couple of times while we were touring the village, so we decided to take the car to the beach.  Pretty funny had to be there.  We finally made to the beach.  It was the kids first time to the ocean.  They were a little disappointed when we told them we were just walking on the beach looking for shells and no we did not bring their swimsuits.  But they still had fun.

       And tried not to get wet.

                                    It was a little windy but still a beautiful day for a walk.

Good news, Bad news

I hope that everyone had a wonderful end of the year and start to a new one.  We finally started to get back into our regular routine so I'm hoping to get back to blogging.  That is the good news.  The bad news is that I plugged in my camera to download Christmas pictures and found not one picture on there. :( So there will be no pictures of presents that I made for now.  But I haven't shared family pictures that we got our Christmas card picture, so here you go.




We went down to Hagood Mill with Mike and Jennifer (Doug's Dad and Mom) and Grandpa Patten.  Lisa and Robert joined us down there also.
